WordPress for WooCommerce or Salesforce commerce cloud: Which website builder to choose for your online store?

I have been using WordPress for a long and, to be honest, I am fond of this site. Salesforce has its own fan base including me. It is quite arduous to compare both platforms. Both platforms hold a close place in my life.  Does it hold in yours too? WordPress, as well as Salesforce both, are one of its kind.

But, sometimes it is a bit complex and not up to the mark. We can use plugins free of cost and implement without a developer to optimize site, though. SFCC offers an A/B testing feature. You can know which version is best by tracking your test subscriber response. However, Salesforce Commerce Cloud really doesnt provide as many free plugins as WordPress has to offer. For example, with one free plugin you can connect your mailing autoresponder (like Mailchimp) to your woocommerce store. If you have to do that same in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, you will have to think of using Pardot, which is easily another additional 12k USD per year in terms of licenses alone.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud does give you options to customize the store, but most users have complained that the look and feel of commerce cloud is not something to fall for. However, woocommerce is also a similar player in the product management niche. With provision to add variants, attributes, inventory management, stock alerts, the whole solution is customizable and works great if you connect to a CRM of your choice. Woocommerce is definitely a winner in terms of Product management.
